  • This fee structure follows Medicare Schedule (MBS) for psychiatrists, for e.g., the number 291 indicate the Medicare item 291. Your gap fee (out-of-pocket) is the difference between your Medicare rebate and our fee.
  • Extended Medicare safety net: Extended Medicare safety Net becomes active once your out of pocket expense from all medical visits cross $668.10(for concession card holders) $2,093.30(for others) in a calendar year. You will get your entire fee reimbursed by Medicare for all follow up consultations which occur after you become eligible.
  • Steps-4-Minds program: An intensive 6 week mind-body program which includes computer based Cognitive training, Online CBT and Physical training at discounted rates.

Advance payment of fee may be required to secure your booking. Settlement of the final amount is expected on the day of your consultation. You can pay it using your credit card, bank transfer or cash. Your medicare rebate claim will be send through to Medicare electronically in one transaction along with your payment. You will receive the rebate to your nominated account in 24-48 hours.If you have any trouble getting your rebate, please give our friendly secretary a call.
Please note that it is your responsibility to check with medicare whether you are eligible for a particular item such as item 291 or 293 as you can claim it only once/calendar year. Failure to receive rebate because of ineligibility may not entitle you to any refunds by Mindoc.

Cancellation Policy

We would appreciate as much notice as possible, if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment with Mindoc. Consultations time are often high in demand. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may result in a non-rebatable fee of $100.00.

Translating Services

Here at Mindoc, we are a diverse practice which accept and take into consideration all different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. We offer a free on-site interpreting system for any languages, for those who have English as their second language, or find it difficult to understand English well. If you are a patient that is interested in these services, please let our Administration Staff know whilst booking an appointment at our Clinic.

Completing the Mindoc Registration Form

Help us build an accurate health record by using our registration form. You may prefer to fill it in advance or do it onsite on the day of your initial consultation.

Better Communication

Mindoc would like to keep in touch regarding your appointments and billing by sending SMS reminders and email if necessary. To enable this we need your updated contact details and your consent for us to communicate electronically.

Access to Medical Records

This requires an appointment to discuss and sometimes a written request to release information depending on the purpose and circumstances of the request.

Requests for Results

Requests for pathology or imaging results will usually require an appointment. Call us on 61490029491 to find out what you need.

Requests for Scripts

This always requires an appointment and medical assessment. This can not be done over the phone to comply with practice standards. Please contact reception if you need SMS reminders for scripts due.
