What you need to know as a patient with Mindoc.
Mindoc would like to keep in touch regarding your appointments and billing by sending SMS reminders and email if necessary. To enable this we need your updated contact details and your consent for us to communicate electronically.
Access to Medical Records
This requires an appointment to discuss and sometimes a written request to release information depending on the purpose and circumstances of the request.
Requests for Results
Requests for pathology or imaging results will usually require an appointment. Call us to find out what you need.
Requests for Scripts
This always requires an appointment and medical assessment. This can not be done over the phone to comply with practice standards. Please contact reception if you need SMS reminders for scripts due.
Billing & Fees
Mindoc is a private billing practice and fees are payable at the time of consultation. The fees at Mindoc are kept at or below MBS fees to reduce your out of pocket expenses. Charges will vary depending on the length of appointment and the complexity of psychiatric condition.

Mindoc policy mandates all accounts to be settled in full on the day of your consultation by card. For eligible services, Medicare Ezyclaim allows your Medicare rebate to be paid back to your debit card immediately after you have paid your account at the practice. Please make sure your bank account details are up to date with Medicare.
If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or change your appointment time. A cancellation fee of $50 will be charged for failure to attend or cancellation at short notice (please note that this fee is not Medicare rebatable).
